This Thanksgiving season, Kemp Klein Law Firm is proud to once again participate in Lighthouse’s Great Thanksgiving Food Fight, a community fundraising initiative that brings together local businesses and organizations to help provide Thanksgiving meals to families throughout Southeast Michigan.

Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing poverty, housing instability, and food insecurity. Through its food assistance programs, emergency shelter, housing resources, and other essential services, Lighthouse provides critical support to thousands of people in our community each year.

Coming Together to Support Local Families

The Great Thanksgiving Food Fight is a friendly fundraising competition that encourages local organizations and their supporters to help families in need during the holiday season. Since its launch in 2022, the initiative has raised more than $68,000 and collected over 4,000 pounds of food to support Lighthouse’s efforts throughout Southeast Michigan.

These contributions help Lighthouse provide balanced holiday food boxes containing fresh produce, dairy, proteins, and other essential items, allowing families to enjoy a nutritious Thanksgiving meal together.

How You Can Help

Kemp Klein invites attorneys, staff, clients, friends, and members of the community to join us in supporting Lighthouse’s Great Thanksgiving Food Fight. Every donation, regardless of size, helps provide much-needed assistance to local families.

Those interested in supporting the campaign can make a contribution through Kemp Klein’s official fundraising page. Sharing the campaign with friends, family, and colleagues is another way to help raise awareness and encourage participation.

The deadline to make a donation is Friday, November 20, 2026.
